Fausti Sisters

The typical Italian economic-production structure saturated with small and medium enterprises has allowed the appearance of an important role, that of the person or the persons around which the image of a company is developed. This person provides a testimonial, or as it is better defined in jargon, becomes an “endorser”.

In the case of Fausti, the three sisters Elena, Giovanna and Barbara Fausti, aware of the intrinsic quality of their products decided to use their image to advertise their production of sporting guns.  It all starts from the fact that the three sisters are directly involved in the design, creation and development of new models and therefore well aware of each working step. This knowledge is supplemented by hunting experience, a common activity of the three sisters.

Thus Fausti decided to take advantage of their image as credible and enthusiastic endorsers.  This winning image has attracted the attention of the press from around the world: many articles have been written and conversations had about the Fausti sisters (and consequently the Fausti products).  And that is the secret: the promotion of the FAUSTI brand connected to the three sisters. In the industrial world in general and especially in the world of arms, there is no other brand that is so “unique” and “recognisable”.

This is why in just 10 years of promotional campaigns Fausti has become one of the most well-known brands internationally.

FAUSTI manufacturing philosophy is based on the perfect blend between tradition and innovation.

All our firearms are built applying systems that are over a century old. However we understood long ago that traditional methods needed to be updated and optimized all the time if we wanted to reach a broader audience and bigger objectives.

Progress has had an impact on both our R&D and design. The introduction of new and better types of steel and aluminum alloys, improved chemical treatments and above all advanced CNC equipment has made it possible to manufacture firearms where quality is never compromised, ballistic performance is the best obtainable and price is still accessible to most.
Our strategic business decision to offer a range of modern sporting firearm has lead us to develop and manufacture a series of models that meet very different price points, through the entire spectrum.

However even our most industrialized models have a distinct identity, an inner soul that separate them from the competition. Our R&D department is continuously challenged to improve the reliability and handling characteristics of our guns.

As a matter of fact, all our side by side and over and under shotguns come with a modified Anson & Deeley mechanism, famous for its simplicity, limited number of parts and reliability.

Having a mechanism with fewer parts means running fewer chances of failures and overall easier care and maintenance. The components of our box-lock side-by-side shotgun, for example, are completely machined from billets of solid metal. It would have been much cheaper to use castings instead, but we opted for a bigger manufacturing challenge for the sake of quality and reliability.

By using machined parts and carrying out 250 quality checks throughout the entire manufacturing we give our products a real “added value” over the competition.
